I have lived in this Voluntown local area for over 50 years. Growing up, I was always involved with extra-curricular activities through school and church. I graduated from Griswold High School and later graduated from SUNY Maritime College with a degree in Meteorology and Oceanography, the Eastern Connecticut State College with a Masters degree in Science Education, and later graduated from Thames Valley Technical School with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. My current hobbies include spending time with my family raising our Granddaughter, gardening ,traveling, and volunteering as a Voluntown School Board member for two terms and as the Chairman of Voluntown’s Economic Development Commission for the last 15 years.
